Introducing the Team: Nas Yousef

Nas' passion is to help anyone who needs extra support with translating their writing. He sees the challenge of translation being that languages, more often than not, cannot be translated from one to another just by finding the equivalent word. Meaning is easily lost through misunderstanding the process of translating and it is these language barriers that stop the message getting through clearly.

Nas trained as a lawyer in Syria and started his dream job in 1997 being part of a good international network through the law domain. Interpreting and translating were an important part of his career. In 2012, moving to Sweden widened his opportunities. He learnt Swedish to a proficient level. To learn academically a new language besides English and Arabic brought him into a wider sphere.

Nas now works, interprets and translates in three languages. He has a level 3 in Interpreting for Public Services and a level 6 Diploma in Public Service Translation in the UK. Nas' background and experience ensures you will get the very best quality for translating anything from legal documents to academic tracts.
