Introducing the Team: Ali Aftab

Ali first started teaching in 2015, as a high school student. Since then he has worn the hat of a researcher, student advisor, international officer, copywriter, proofreader, campaign creator, and occasional gardener. Ever since 2016 he has offered advisory services to

students trying their hand at college applications. During this era, he also challenged his own ability to write which led to his work being published in Pakistan’s biggest political monthly

gazette. His academic research has been cited in a book about snow leopards, and an original Urdu poem of his found its way into an annual Zine.

After the end of his undergraduate degree in 2020, he dived into the world of professional

education, and has recently completed his Masters in International Education and

Development from the University of Sussex. Guiding him on this journey are his experiences

in policy advocacy for women’s education, being a higher education student consultant, and

reporting for development organisations.

At Boldface Editing, Ali will help create communication and operational strategies to deliver

our services to you. The intersection of his interests in higher education, academic research

and policy management flow into Boldface Editing’s vision to offer professional services that

are holistic and empowering for our clients.
